Event configuration > Event details >Event Brand > Hosts
Host Messaging is a form of One-way communication(guests cannot respond) by a Host. It will show up for guests on the Mobile App as a Inbox-Message.
You can use the Host messaging feature to send a message to ALL event groups or to a selected Guest Group.
Step 1 Setting up a Host for the event
From the side menu
> Select 'Event configuration'
> select 'Event details'
>Choose 'Host' tab
Here you can Add a profile as the Host for your event.
Step 2 Enabling host messaging for the Mobile App
From the side menu
> Select 'Event configuration'
> select 'Event Brands'
>Choose the Event brand that Hosts are going to use.
> Then "Action's" button and 'Change Theme'
This will take you to the Theme builder to configure items on the Mobile App interface.
> select 'Menu'
> scroll down till you see the 'Add Feature' button, you can then enable - Host messaging (this will now show on the side menu of the App)
> Please ensure that the feature 'Message Inbox' is also included on the Guests App either as a Menu or Widget item for the Guests event brand, so they can easily manage messages.
Step 3 How to send a Host Message
Open the App and sign in
> From the Side-Menu select 'Host messaging'
> The host is able to fill out necessary details and use the "Groups" selector as a filter.
The Right-side image shows the guests view, when they open their Inbox-Message.
