Event Management > Guests > 'Send Invite'
Sending an invite will send an email directly to that individual guest, styled in the chosen 'Invitation Message template' applied in the Event Brand, this invite will contain a QR code and unique code that will allow the Guest to register for the event.
If you have not selected an Invitation message template, you can create one from scratch for your event/company.
> To find the templates section on the Platform; Select 'System Settings'
> labelled as 'Guest Registration' you can 'Add new'
> The Template creation editor will allow you to customise the email template.
Video Guide
Event management > Guest index*, click 'Send Invite' for the chosen guest. You will then be required to confirm that you want to send the invitation, once confirmed you will receive a notification update regarding if the Invite was successful.
You will notice the invitation button has now changed to a number. This number is the Guest's Unique Code
Whilst the guest has this button against their name, they are ‘invited' but not 'registered’. If you select that guest to view their guest details, you will notice the guest now has a QR code against them and this number is what has been sent to the guest to register. You can use this to troubleshoot any registration issues.
You can also check the 'Communications' log on the Guest Details page to make sure they have received and/or opened the invitation.
Not until the “Live” status changes to a tick and the “Device” data changes you can then consider the guest as registered.
Please note:
Before sending out invitations you must have created an Event Brand that the guest is in and ensure you have set up an 'Invitation email template' and uploaded a 'Privacy Policy' within Event configuration > Event Brand. Finally, the guest must have a valid email address in their details to receive the invitation.
