Use case example

The 'Create Multiple Guests' feature is useful for pre-planning. For example, if your event has 10 VIPs, you can create 10 blank guest profiles, set up their permissions, branding, and travel details in advance, and fill in their names and emails later.

How to Create Multiple Guest.

Click the 'Action' button from the Guests index page and select "Create Multiple Guests"

Complete the following form, with the quantity being the number of guests you wish to create.

As you can see by the example below, we are creating 100 Canadians with English as their language in the Guestia Event Brand that are not part of any resellers. Once created these will appear in the platform as "Guest Name 1" through to "Guest Name 100" each with a dummy* email address.

Import Multiple Guests

We have created a Spreadsheet that platform users can access if you want to import Guest details via a spreadsheet.

First, select the 'Download import template' options. This will download the 'GuestImportSheet.xlsx' file.

All Mandatory fields in the worksheet 'Sample template' needs to be completed before importing can be successful.

Once the Guest Import template has been completed and saved, select 'Import from file' which will take you to the page below. Select 'Browse', choose the import template and follow the 'verify excel spreadsheet' steps.

Once the file is verified click the “Import Guests” button.

You will then be told on screen if the import has been successful. If the import is unsuccessful, an annotated version will be produced to highlight any amendments that are required before the data can be imported successfully.
