How to Create and Add Location Maps to an Event Brand - Williams F1

Displaying an event map is a great way to give guests and attendees a digital overview of the location where Points of Interest can be shown. 

How to Create a Location Map

Start by clicking on App Content located in the left side menu and click on Location Maps. If no maps have been created, + Add Map will be the option in the middle of the screen or click on + Create New Location Map in top right corner

Begin filling out the form and in the Name field, type the Event Location and Guestia will automatically search and Suggest Location Details for added convenience:

Please note: That the Map should be based on the location to which Points of Interest are added to:

The form will also allow for Points of Interest to be added if they aren't automatically populated. Any existing Points of Interest will be added by Guestia. 

When the Map has been created, it will be displayed in the main home page: 

How to Add a Location Map to an Event Brand

Start by clicking on Event Configuration and select Event Brands. Here you will see any existing Event Brands you wish to add the map to

Click on the Actions button for the Event Brand you require and select Change Theme

Click on App Builder and select Menu to customise the side menu of the mobile app. Here you will see any features that have been added and the option to Add Features

Click on Add Feature which will give a list of features that have been added and others that are available to add. The Location Map that has been created for this event will be available to select

Once selected, the Location Map will be added to the side menu of the mobile app for app users to see and interact with. You have now successfully added the Location Map to an Event Brand
